Readinglists.uwe.ac.uk is a web-based resource for academics to create dynamic and up-to-date resource lists. Lists can be embedded within Blackboard and can provide students with access to a range of resources, including digital media.
How is Reading Lists used for teaching and learning?
The reading list directs students to core and further reading in one place with stable links. It is best practice to add guidance notes and divide into sections, so it is clear when and what to read. Lists can also be created that aren’t linked to modules such as, for example, decolonising, wellbeing and special events.

Get started
The software can be accessed several ways. Via a link on the UWE Library homepage or via readinglists.uwe.ac.uk. Users need to create a public profile on the system to get started.
Support
Support is available from UWE Library Services via the Ask a Librarian chat service and the administrator can also be contacted for queries. There is Reading list guidance page on the UWE Intranet (UWE login required) which provides best practice guidance. Feedback can be sent directly to the tool provider TALIS from the software itself and there is also a user community.
Training
UWE Library Services provide training via drop-in workshops at various times of the year and on a 1 to 1 or group basis for academic staff.
